Wednesday, October 12, 5:30 - 7:30 Say hello to the king of the jungle! The most important thing to remember when painting any animal, is that they ALWAYS look funky halfway through. Don't give up! This one requires a little patience, but if you let the water and paint to the work you'll learn to trust the process.
All supplies are included for this project. You will finish the painting in one class while learning more techniques using watercolor.
This class is intended for those who have some experience with watercolor; the class uses a combination of one-on-one instruction and online tutorials.
We will cover basic materials and techniques.
1. Review materials.
2. Wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques.
3. Techniques to control your paint and color contrast.
4. Importance of contrast including both shadows and highlights.
Ages 14 and up - Registration is required.
